The Shreveport and Barksdale Coconut Button Camp Shirt

I ordered the S’port-Barksdale camp shirt for my dad’s 90th birthday and he was over the moon!! He loves wearing it and telling people about his days as an air traffic controller and pilot…nearly 70 years of flying and still going strong!…and the stories that man can tell!
When dad retired, we moved near his home place, about an hour from Shreveport, LA. He still maintains his “airport” with the runway and hangar that houses his sports plane!
I specifically chose this sectional chart for that reason, along with the fact that he worked at the Barksdale base at one point while in the Air Force.
I was very impressed with the quality of the shirt and the clarity of the printing on it. No complaints here!
One of these days I may have a shirt made for him with his “airport” on it! Absolutely love this business concept! Thanks for making one veteran aviator extremely proud!

10 minutes after I posted my original review for this shirt, I received a call from the owner seeking to rectify the issue I noted. A replacement is on the way. Now that is 5 stars for customer service!

Really love this campy shirt as one who used to fly out of Barksdale. But this was advertised as coming with coconut buttons. Instead, it came with standard plastic buttons so only a 4 star from me.
